![]() ![]() I genuinely think absorbing the dragon takes him from mid B class to upper B class. Bui was solidly B class and absorbing the dragon made Hiei so much stronger that Bui literally couldn't harm him. I fully agree that Hiei is middle B class if he doesn't absorb the dragon. It is also possible that Toguro was lower A class, as he did mention that he couldn't go to demon world even if he wanted to. Before tranforming, Younger Toguro punched his older brother so hard he almost died. Younger Toguro could literally insert his hand into Kuwabara with a tiny fraction of his power. When Kuwabara powered up, Elder Toguro's tendril attack couldn't penetrate Kuwabara. Elder Toguro was beaten by Kuwabara, which means that he couldn't be upper B class, even if Kuwabara had a special weapon. Koenma said BOTH Toguro brothers were upper B class. Spirit World power ratings aren't 100% accurate. It was flying around the stadium and whatnot while when the Spirit Gun is shot in a direction that's it after it exits the area. To wrap it up about the stadium being destroyed more by Hiei it's simply because the Dragon causes more damage than a Spirit Gun. If by chance Tuguro got significantly weaker during his fight with an awakened Yusuke then maybe, but a huge part of me doubts it. Hiei is my favorite character btw, but the writers made it kind of clear that Yusuke was the only one that could beat Tuguro. Koenma was right there when he absorbed the Dragon, so this wouldn't be something he wouldn't take into consideration. In the Chapter Black arc, Koenma told him that he was in the middle of the B class by the end of the tournament while Tuguro was an upper B. The only time it was implied he might was when Sensui was about to kill Yusuke and they all agreed to run away with Yusuke and damage control the demons that escape the portal.Īlso, Hiei had just woke up from his nap (forgot the exact amount of time he was out but I think it was a day or two) so it's possible he could have absorbed the dragon but this was also something new he had learned and it visibly showed to drain him considerably. Hiei was never really shown to run in any of the fights and always stood his ground. The comment with Hiei saying that was within character. It's all speculation but I still don't see it.
